Vern Montgomery is a North Vancouver based artist who has lived in the Lower Mainland for the majority of his life. As a stroke and brain aneurysm survivor, he struggles with everyday tasks - but you will never see any of this bring him down or reflected in his artwork. Vern is a positive, upbeat person with a caring heart, great sense of humour, and a loud, contagious laugh. Instead of dwelling on what could have been Vern finds pleasure in painting life as he sees it. Mainly chosing to use acrylic on canvas, Vern paints all kinds of things - including local landscapes, popular sites, and people people people!
